Part 14 : Battle 1

To stop Voldemort and his followers, Dumbledore built the order of phoenix – the original order. And as we all know, there was the first battle fought between Death Eaters and the Aurors. This was according to me the first time when Dumbledore actually found out Voldemort’s strengths. But I don’t think it was a very big thing for Voldemort. He had dreamt to achieve immortality and he knew that he would have to struggle. But then came Harry Potter…
Voldemort still considered that those coming in his way to immortality were only dangerous and so we know on getting news from Snape about the prophecy, he went to kill Harry and what happened is all history. I have gone past the past few years very fast. So now let’s see what was in them to understand Voldemort better.
A boy entered Hogwarts to enhance the magic he had and somewhere to even take revenge of his mother. However in Hogwarts, he found out his identity of something much more than an ordinary wizard. So he decided to show loyalty towards Salazar Slytherin and found his chambers. But before that he found about Horcruxes. A thought must have then struck Voldemort that what is so much about being a great wizard when one day like normal muggle you shall die and slowly fade in history. Your all works then certainly will be used but no one shall credit you. You and your name fades into darkness forever just like what happened with Salazar Slytherin. Voldemort decided to enslave the darkness which had swallowed so many great people and by Horcruxes, he just found a way to do so. I say he had a dream and found a way to complete it. Though I don’t approve of the path taken but I don’t forget that a very few people alive today, dream something so big and achieve it and for that I respect him.
Well after Voldemort completed his last year at Hogwarts, he had achieved the main 2 aims with which he had entered the wizarding world –
To revenge his 11 miserable years at the orphanage and his mother’s suffering and death.
to enhance his special ability and make space for himself in the wizarding world.

But in the due course, he had learnt of things even bigger. He was a brilliant lad but he didn’t want to end up vanished one day except from history books; after his death. Maybe he even considered death for muggles…
Anyways, he had a way and he worked it up. However, he always feared betrayal and so never made friends. And also he might not have wanted to share his secrets either…for which he did pay a price so huge that you can never even feel a bit of it and neither should you.

Anyways, the charming boy had now turned to ‘he – who – must – not – be – named’ and I think this name was too coined by him. Back to the fight – it wasn’t such a big issue. Not for him at least cause now his life was only dedicated to his dream – to be immortal.
Well, before, we go to the end of the fight; we must know that Voldemort was rather famous, especially in Slytherins. We know this as when Snape was in school, he and his friends wanted to be death eaters and also Lily had a fair idea of what a Death Eater is. Similarly, Regulus Black’s room tells how famous Voldemort was.
