Part 4 : Descendants of Salazar Slytherin

Anyways, I know you must be thinking why Salazar Slytherin…when this article is meant to be about Voldemort…

But to know Voldemort, you must know Slytherins well as Voldemort was a true Slytherin and unfortunately people have wrong assumptions about Slytherins too.

I do hope I have laid a new face of Salazar Slytherin and Slytherins in front of you cause if not then I am afraid that you shall never understand what I write next.

Ahead with the story, Salazar despite of being all so talented, earned himself shame, misery and life unknown to everyone. Even after all his good deeds, he was marked ‘bad’ in the wizarding world history.

This must have increased his miseries. He would definitely have had wanted revenge (cause he was a Slytherin – the first ever Slytherin, who are short tempered and hot blooded) but not with his own people. The basilisk was to kill muggles only! So we can conclude that he still cared for his people. But the thing is that people never sympathized. They only taunted, called bad names and what not?

However all this shame wasn’t taken alone by Salazar. A huge portion of it was taken by his descendants who too like descendants of the other founders would have wanted a good name and respect but received none!

As I can possibly build up was that Slytherins especially descendants of Salazar suffered a lot as in spite of being talented, they faced anger and hatred of others. The frustrations within them increased so much that they decided to go with the bad name and use means to get what they deserve and they (looks like) still are doing this, the only difference is that now they have got so much used to be bad that they have forgotten what the fight was for.

Focusing a little on specifically Slytherin’s descendants, I imagine them to be living an entire misery which grew so much that they had (probably) to change their names (that’s how we reach to Gaunts) or maybe no boys in the family line survived to face shame and only Slytherin blood survived in other families through girls.
